2026 Squirt/10U Scrimmages

The 2026 Squirt/10U GFYHA Pre-Tryout scrimmages are being offered to all players within their age level to help prepare for tryouts.

The idea of the scrimmages is to give all players the opportunity to skate within their age groups in a setting similar to what their tryouts will be like. For the Scrimmages the teams will be split evenly in number and skill level as best we can to provide a good experience for each player.

In order to be eligible, all players must first be registered with GFYHA for the 2026-2027 hockey season.

*Scrimmage team placements and schedules (ice times) will be communicated when registration closes. (October 6)

There will be 3 scrimmage nights. October 13, 15 and 20.

Tryouts for both Squirt and 10U will start on October 26.

Ages

This registration is for all Squirt and 10U Players and Goalies.

Jerseys

Jerseys/Pinnies will be provided for all players

Goalies can wear their own jerseys

When

*Squirt players will be on an assigned team that will play at 5:15pm, 5:30pm, 5:45pm, 6:00pm or 6:15pm depending on the day. Goalies may be asked to play multiple times depending on numbers.

*Times and teams will be assigned once final numbers are determined (October 6)

All players will have 3 nights of scrimmages:

Tuesday, October 13

Thursday, October 15

Tuesday, October 20

*Squirt Sessions:

5:30pm & 6:15pm @ Rydell (10/13 &10/15)

5:15pm & 6:00pm @ Rydell (10/20)

5:45pm @ Judd

*10U Session:

5:00pm @ Judd
