BAA/ PAA Top Gun Challenge
Registration for the 2026 Bantam AA/ Peewee AA Top Gun Challenge will open May 1, 2026.
The 2026/2027 Bantam AA/ Peewee AA B-Dubs Shootout will take place from December 31, 2026 - January 3, 2027. To secure a spot in the tournament, all teams must complete the registration process and submit the required registration fee. Please note that submission of the registration form and payment constitutes a tournament application, not a guaranteed entry.
Teams will be notified of their acceptance status within 45 days of registering. In the event a team is not accepted into the tournament, a full refund will be issued.
All GFYHA tournaments are sanctioned by USA Hockey. All participating teams must hold current sanctioning through USA Hockey or Hockey Canada.

When
Bantam AA
December 31, 2026 - January 3, 2027
Games will begin on Thursday, and final games will be played on Sunday. Games can start as early as 10 AM on Thursday.
Peewee AA
January 1 - January 3, 2027
- Games will begin on Friday, and final games will be played on Sunday. Games can start as early as 8 AM on Friday.

Games
Bantam AA
Each team is guaranteed five (5) games. Thursday (1 game), Friday (1-2 game(s)), and Saturday (1-2 game(s)) will be pool play games. The top seeds from each bracket will be placed in the championship bracket on Sunday. Lower-seeded teams will be placed in friendly games.
Peewee AA
Each team is guaranteed four (4) games. Friday (1 game) and Saturday (2 games) will be pool play games. The top seeds from each bracket will be placed in the championship bracket on Sunday. Lower-seeded teams will be placed in friendly games.
Pool Makeup
We will structure pools with teams from diverse regional areas to the best of our ability. These regions will include North Dakota, Northern Minnesota, Southern Minnesota, Canada, and other neighboring areas.

Hotel Information
We require teams to book hotel rooms/ blocks through Traveling Teams. Once you have registered, Traveling Teams will reach out to your team contact to help you book your hotel stay.
Awards
Banners will be awarded for first and second place in each division.
Individual awards are given to first-place teams.
There will be no third place games.
